Wash It Away | Saratoga Springs | Albany | New York – Boudoir
I like to explain our bodies to children by the example that our skin is like a bag that holds our organs and bones and will move and adjust as we use the bag and add and subtract from it and it all is natural and NORMAL. You can use a grocery bag as an example too and show how it moves as you adjust what is in it.
Take a look and read what Miss C has to say about her Self Love Experience:
“I first booked my shoot with Lindsay about 8 months prior. I had all intentions of toning and watching my figure (especially since I am at my heaviest.) I, then joined the Self Love Facebook group and realized there is so many beautiful women regardless of their size, hair color, tattoos, piercings, etc. The group and all its members are very helpful even without them knowing on basics as what to wear, how to love yourself, how Lindsay makes everything seamless and more!
When my shoot was getting closer I decided I didn’t need to change my body, or try to, to enjoy something I’ve never done and wanted to do for myself and my partner. The day of my shoot, I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d be, which was great! I walked in to Lindsay with a full beaming smile and ready to get the day started! Any nervousness I did have washed away a bit more with each step. Obviously, I didn’t know how things were going to go, and then I had to try on all my lingerie in front of two women I never knew… gasp! Not! It was totally fine. Lindsay and Natalie made me see things in my body that I never realized people noticed, and not in a bad way. Everything after that was a breeze. Hair and makeup planning was such a great experience to watch them play their ideas for you off each other and have it come to life.
The shoot overall was fun, and relaxing actually! I learned a lot about how my body can and does look, how it feels to do certain poses, and that even if you may not have started your day off feeling sexy, you will when you leave!
We focus so much on what we don’t like, that we don’t realize those bits that others admire. Lindsay & Natalie not once made me feel uncomfortable, or uneasy. It was absolutely an experience I believe every woman should gift themselves. I’m so glad I did it for me; even with the intentions of my artwork going to my partner; I learned and gained so much! “
